| A harsh question 14:41 - Dec 3 with 678 views | cressi | If by the end of December we are mid table do we give McKenna more money or bring somebody else in a opportunity to get a tune out of all the players we have brought in. A difficult decision a great two yrs followed by a awful 18 months. | | | | |

A couple of iffy games and some people panic. Before that we were second over the previous 10 games. Chill. It will all come good in the end.

| A harsh question on 14:53 - Dec 3 with 591 views | Vaughan8 | I don't think so unless we start losing by 3,4,5 goals regularly. McKenna's probably got enough credit in the bank for the whole season if I'm being honest, and probably the start of the next if there isn't a major collapse or falling out. | | | |
| A harsh question on 14:53 - Dec 3 with 592 views | Churchman | You either have confidence in him or you don’t. If it’s the former, back him and try and get him the players he wants, money permitting, and let him get on with it. Same as Robson when people called for his head and the Board backed him and bought Allan Hunter - two of the best decisions this club ever made. | | | |

Problem for me is that and I know it's all about points accrued but the performances haven't been fantastic Blackburn x 2 ( incl the 79 mins of the original we were bad ) Watford H Oxford A Wrexham H Preston A Brum A Hull A ( first 70 mins) I'm all for keeping KMc but something needs to give and soon Change of manager out of the question another big reshuffle in terms of purchases , no thanks We firstly need to play players in positions that suit them accompanied by some pace , get Leif back to where he's at his most dangerous and get the midfield ticking alongside a couple of decent 10's .......... and some decent ball retention ! Easy innit [Post edited 3 Dec 14:59]

Agreed. We know what good looks like under McKenna, it's yet to be proven if that was lightening in a bottle and i suspect we won't see the best of this team until next year if we are still in the Championship, with us losing some. We really need to try and stick with a core group now if we can.
| A harsh question on 15:01 - Dec 3 with 510 views | peterleeblue | I've posted before Kieran here until end of 26/27. I haven't changed my mind. It may take that long for us to get this right. Sunderland have taught us that we will not win this league with a premier league ready team or anything like one. So the comments such as "we are miles of prem" are correct as we always will be at Championship level. The Lyall and Burley days have long gone. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
| A harsh question on 15:21 - Dec 3 with 419 views | Denny32 | What we have is not a premiership ready team but only a competitive championship team..shocking!! Yes I know..after all the money been spent. Yes the club did OK with sales of delap and hutch ,but for all the other exits ,did we replace with better ..not sure. .the jury is out..we still have a second half of season coming up ..and who knows, we could go on a 23/24 season run..13 wins out of 15..mckenna will be with us till end of season..what awaits us ,we don't know..mckenna will surely have gained more experience, more lessons to be learnt and all that ..let's see..roll on 26 | | | |
