...or we're just getting indoctrinated in our left wing thought bubble or something..
Trump to Rubio: "Your next one is gonna be Cuba. He's waiting but he says, 'Let's get this one finished first.' We could do them all at the same time, but bad things happen."
The absolute horrors of any war are immense, and the completely glib way they are treating this is chilling.
Separately I find the psychology of the American people in this situation very interesting. They generally still see themselves as a democracy with institutions that will reassert themselves. The forthcoming mid terms seen as the salve.
However going to war in this way is only what dictatorships do. The Supreme Court striking down tariffs was seen as an institutional victory. But really any countries courts only are only effective if ultimately supported by the barrel of a gun. The willingness of the armed forces to go to war on his sole instruction and with no legal protection whatsoever - just a coupe of weeks after that Supreme Court judgement - really should worry everyone.
In my view this marks a massive step towards fully an autocratic America that has not yet been ‘priced in’ by the people.

That's unacceptable. The next leader should be decided by the Iranian people. Not Trump. Not the so called "Assembly of Experts".
The people who have suffered over 40 years of brutality at the hands of the Islamic Republic.
Agreed.
But the US are belligerent at the moment, so I assume he will push for it. They are also looking at Cuba now so pretty clear his goal is to install puppet leaders in as many places as he can.
We should be no part of this, Starmer needs to take a much firmer stance more in line with the Spanish because this isn't really freeing the Iranians from the regime, it's replacing it with another that the US likes but the Iranians will have little say in deciding.

Please, please tell me this is a spoof? That is just nauseating.
At least in olden times, leaders were at the forefront of battle, sharing the consequences of their actions. Now they just make vain, braggadocious statements from thousands of miles away, while others take the risks and innocents die.

be reasonable, he has a medical exemption due to bone spurs, and a pathological need for constant make-up/wig adjustments.
