I love the guy as a character, but he really needs to up his game if he wants to play in the premier league.
He can be a genius one minute and not so the next.
I hope he can step up.

He’s been disappointing for me on the pitch. I was expecting much more from him, but feel rather underwhelmed by his performances. He’s another I worry whether he can bridge the gap from Championship to EPL.

Marcelino's move from Nodge and his Carrow Road cameo were hilarious.

Now he's achieved what he wanted, I think he needs to grow up a little, put Scum in the past and do his talking on the pitch.

He had a purple patch of 2-3 month before his injury where he looked like the link we needed between midfield and striker. Since his injury not been great.

Think a 10 will be an area we look to spend bigger on.

The only Muff in Town.

I agree. We haven't got that link right between the number 9 and 10 for a season or two. Chappers although I love the guy wasn't good enough and neither was Broadhead who had a decent touch and pass in him, but just wasn't consistent enough. Memeti is more direct than Nunez but I wonder again with him if he can step up.
Somehow I don't see Nunez as being someone with a very high I.Q. he seems to love the limelight and the buzz of celebration and is a bit OTT.
He will need to knuckle down and produce the goods next season.
I saw him as our Bruno Fernandez. I hope he can reach that type of status.

We could always offer to loan Nunez back to the Budgies....

Agreed. I don't think he's good enough to be a regular in the PL. I think he was bought with the thought he can step up, but apart from the first few months he played, he's been largely, not that great.

In his defence hes ended up playing a position that he wasn’t signed for. Hes ended up at 10 because the two first choice options failed to fire

I wasn't convinced by his appearances in midfield either though. Gave the ball away cheaply in dangerous positions too often in his limited time there and he's definitely too lightweight to play as a CM in the Prem. Can't see him getting very many minutes next season if he's still here. Looks someone to me who might have to move to a different European league if he wants regular top flight football.
