Obviously this is said in jest, but I hope Ashton wasn't exaggerating when he said a number of deals were down the line.

We need a few signings through the door early in pre-season, certainly before the team travel to Spain on 20th July.

Supporters were told last season that we could plan early for the Championship, but that never happened as Furlong, McAteer, Egeli, Nunez and Akpom all arrived after the season had started.
