I think it’s very soft but…

Vini Jr gets his foot in front of defender but doesn’t touch the ball in the single movement. I think if he’d touched the ball in the first forward movement then it wouldn’t have been given but the fact he ‘catches him’ and the has to move leg again forward to get the ball must be the issue.

I thought it was a foul and it was. The defender would have played the ball back to GK without the attacker foot being planted in the way WITHOUT playing the ball. The defender was claiming it as he was trying to maintain balance. I was very surprised Scotland weren't in the ref ear more to ask for a foul.

That was fascinating. From one angle looked like a foul and from another was the defender fouling himself.
