Estimates have put wasted money at over £60BN and then when you add in the impact costs of Brexit things jump up another notch.

Whilst I totally agree with your assessment of the Tories where a certain Baroness Mone 's husband managed to secure a multi million pound contract, just one of many that were given contracts when companies who were in that line of business were denied wastefuness is by no means a Tory thing.
Rachel Reeves since being Chancellor has twice gone to taxpayers for a 20 billion pound headroom as she calls it. We are currently borrowing around 20 billion per month where around 15 billion of that is to pay the interest on the loans.
But despite Labour claiming things have improved our growth is less than the outgoing Tories and the tax burden on individuals and companies is the highest since after the second world war. |  | | |

Whilst there are many who still argue they are all the same, I do wonder whether this contributed to the massive collapse in the Tory vote share. It was all public knowledge before this enquiry reported its findings.
It will also be interesting to see whether Farage's open corruption is enough to see his and his party's popularity decrease too. |  |
