Yeah, environmental protestors who want a better future for all our children have been treated as terrorists. It used to be that civil disobedience on conscientious grounds would be taken into account by judges when passing sentences on protestors who’d broken the law peacefully (sit ins and the like). That’s increasingly not the case and people are facing disproportionately long sentences for in some cases doing very little.
I can’t see how these people who hide their faces (not uniquely - violent elements of antifa do similar) and dress to intimidate can be treated any less leniently. Their motives come from an evil place and are not supported by evidence. They have the right to protest peacefully though. Whether they’ll stay peaceful is another matter; based on previous experiences I expect it will turn violent. [Post edited 5 Sep 11:54]

Was a very vocal element on this forum laying into the Just Stop Oil protesters. Hard to see how this is any different at all yet they are all remarkably quiet about it.
I'm sure they are just busy on a Saturday which is understandable and they will be along later to condemn the actions as disgraceful and to point out they might be blocking ambulances and suchlike.

Not only Farage making light of multiple men assaulting a woman but the look of glee on the faces of those old tw*ts whilst they were doing it.
Hopefully some prosecutions to follow.
I actually think this deserves it's own thread, just more evidence of the absolute state of Reform and many of it's supporters.
