Town Draw Hull City Away
Town Draw Hull City Away
Sunday, 4th Dec 2011 14:40

Town have drawn Hull City away in the third round of the FA Cup. Earlier in the season the Tigers beat the Blues 1-0 in the Championship at Portman Road.

Midfielder Jimmy Bullard will be particularly keen to put one over on his old club having left them in less than amicable circumstances in the summer.

The clubs have never met in cup competition before. Third round ties will be played on the weekend of 7th and 8th January.

On-loan striker Ronan Murray was evidently delighted with his and Swindon's tie against Premier League opposition having come on as a sub in yesterday's 1-0 victory at Colchester, tweeting: "Wigan at home in the cup!!"

Andy Drury's loan at Crawley is due to finish prior to their third round tie at home to Bristol City but the midfielder could well return to the Red Devils on a permanent basis when the January transfer window opens.

its the F.A CUP people the best club competion in britian/europe.
anyway my point for posting is this..normaly we get drawn against portsmouth or chelsea yet this season they've been drawn together at least its a change,it might not be man city away or norwich at home but its a mild distraction away from the league.

Not sure this is too bad of a draw. Jimmy will want to play well and hopefully we can take a good crowd. Love a good cup run!

Not the most exciting draw, but not been to the KC before so hopefully a good day out (+ a few beers). Hope HCFC do the sensible thing and have sensible ticket prices for the match.
Amber & black, The way Jimmyboy has been playing this season he probably won,t be playing anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tommyblues

Yes we all do have opinions but unlike you most of us have sensible and reasoned opinions not stupid claptrap and ignorant rantings which are boring in the extreme and make reading posts on here hard work sorting the sensible posts and opinions from the rubbish posted by people like you ! It is a great shame that people like you even claim to be supporters or have any football knowledge !

Is this a story about Jewell or does it even mention his name? No & no...so what is the point of putting "JEWELL OUT" anywhere in your comments? Phil states "Please keep News Comments on topic". Why can't some people follow SIMPLE instructions??!!

Jas how can you say your speaking for the vast majority? the vast majority of fans aplauded the players off on saturday and in my stand they also voiced their support of PJ for being able to raise his players after the shambles on tuesday! Im not saying i am happy Jas, i am not saying i think he should def stay either i am simply stating that the vast majority of fans do not post on here so it is very difficult to assume that they all want him gone.

I seem to remember we had a poor season 77-78 and a manager that wasnt in the fans good books ... now let me remember, what happened to us in the FA cup that season ... and what did we think of the manager after that ... hmmm ...? Thats how legends are born ...

Just saying ...
