McCarthy Makes Three Changes for Watford Clash Saturday, 19th Apr 2014 14:14 Town boss Mick McCarthy has made three changes for this afternoon’s crunch play-off clash with Watford at Vicarage Road with Aaron Cresswell, Anthony Wordsworth and Frank Nouble coming into the side for Tyrone Mings, Paul Anderson and Stephen Hunt. The team, the XI which lost at Blackburn a fortnight ago, looks set to line-up in the same 4-3-3 formation with Wordsworth slightly more withdrawn on the right than Nouble will be on the left with Jonny Williams behind main striker Daryl Murphy and ahead of central midfield pair Cole Skuse and Luke Hyam. Anderson, who has been suffering with a hamstring problem, drops out of the 18, as does former Watford keeper Scott Loach, who woke up with a back problem. Hunt and Mings are on the bench, along with third-choice keeper Michael Crowe and strikers Paul Taylor and Jack Marriott, who was recalled from loan at Woking on Friday. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake misses out with a hamstring injury. Watford: Almunia (c), Angella, Ekstrand, Hoban, Faraoni, Abdi, Tozser, McGugan, Riera, Deeney, Ranegie. Subs: Bond, Belkalem, Battocchio, Merkel, Doyley, Murray, Pudil. Town: Gerken, Chambers (c), Berra, Smith, Cresswell, Skuse, Hyam, Wordsworth, Williams, Nouble, Murphy. Subs: Crowe, Mings, Richardson, Hunt, Green, Taylor, Marriott.
