European Home Run Again Longest Still Unbeaten Streak Thursday, 16th Apr 2015 09:55 Town's 31-match European unbeaten record at Portman Road is once again the longest still ongoing undefeated home streak in Europe following PSG’s Champions League quarter-final first leg defeat to Barcelona last night. The French champions equalled and then surpassed the Blues’ run earlier this season via victories over Apoel Nicosia and Ajax and a draw with Chelsea, but saw their streak end when they were beaten 3-1 at the Parc des Princes by the Catalan giants - beaten twice on Suffolk soil by Town during their run - yesterday. The Blues' record goes back to the European Cup preliminary round tie with Maltese club Floriana in September 1962, which was won 10-0, to the 1-0 UEFA Cup second round first leg victory over Czech side Slovan Liberec in October 2002.
