Ainsley Maitland-Niles returns to the Town starting line-up for the injured Kevin Bru in an otherwise unchanged Blues side ahead of this afternoon’s live Sky game at Charlton (KO 12.30pm).

Winger Larsen Touré, a regular sub in recent weeks, is also missing and like Bru didn’t make the trip to South London.

U21s defender Joe Robinson, 19, is amongst the substitutes for the senior side for the first time in a competitive match.

Charlton have named an unchanged team including former Town loan keeper Stephen Henderson. One-time Blues academy schoolboy Nick Pope, also a keeper, is on the bench.

jas0999 added 12:10 - Nov 28 The best team we could have fielded in my opinion. The worry for me is the lack of creativity, impact and goals on the bench. We seem to be lacking in numbers and although four good players are due back in a couple of weeks, I wonder if we missed a trick by not bringing some quality in on a month loan. Time will tell. Weirdly I've checked this several times this season and it's often come up trumps. For an away game Niles worries me I must say especially with that front 3. Should be lively though as we cannot defend and have attacking players galore. COYB.

BrettenhamBlue added 12:39 - Nov 28 Very weak bench. If the starting 11 are not performing we have basically had it. No impact players except Parr and Tabb (is Tabb fit?). Tabb can play anywhere I suppose. Maybe Oar will get a good run out today?
