Hyam Makes First Start at Burnley Saturday, 2nd Jan 2016 14:07 Town boss Mick McCarthy has made one change to his side for this afternoon’s game at Burnley with Luke Hyam making his first Blues start of the season in place of Jonathan Douglas, who misses out with a knee injury. Hyam made his first Town appearance since suffering a knee injury in January as a sub at Brighton on Tuesday. The Blues could line up in the 4-3-3 formation utilised at Brighton but seem likely to switch to 4-4-2 to match the Clarets’ usual system. Jonny Parr is back on the bench after a calf problem as the Blues chase a club record sixth successive away win. Burnley: Heaton (c), Lowton, Keane, Mee, Ward, Kightly, Jones, Barton, Arfield, Vokes, Gray. Subs: Gilks, Duff, Boyd, Taylor, Darikwa, Ulvestad, Hennings. Town: Gerken, Chambers (c), Smith, Berra, Knudsen, Skuse, Hyam, Bru, Fraser, Sears, Murphy. Subs: Bialkowski, Malarczyk, Parr, Maitland-Niles, Oar, Varney, Pitman. Referee: Peter Bankes (Liverpool).
