Lambert to Attend Tonight's ITFC On the Road Event in London
Tuesday, 29th Jan 2019 10:25

Boss Paul Lambert is a late addition to the guests attending this evening’s ITFC On the Road event in London at The Horseshoe Pub in Clerkenwell. Lambert will join general manager of football operations Lee O’Neill, assistant manager Stuart Taylor and first-team coach Matt Gill.

With recent changes at the club and the confirmation that Lambert and his coaching staff will be staying at the club whatever happens in the next few months, the evening will provide a great opportunity to hear about the current challenges as well as the plans for the future, from the academy through to the first team. There will also be a chance for fans to put their questions to the guests.

Also present will be Stuart Hayton (club secretary), Dan Palfrey (PR/marketing officer), Theo Benneworth (academy sales manager), Peter Over (PLC Director), and Elizabeth Edwards (PLC Director and Supporter Liaison Officer).

The evening, which starts at 7.30pm, will include a question and answer session with the guests, as well as a raffle and auction in aid of the ITFC academy.

A very few tickets, which cost £5 each, are still available from Elizabeth Edwards by email via eaedwards78@gmail.com.

Awesome effort from Lambert - especially with the weather warnings for London tonight. Looking forward to seeing him there...

Hope there is a good turn out in London tonight, to show the terrific support out of Suffolk. Went to Bury St Edmunds last week and it was a very good night.

Would like to know if Teddy is going to get some more game time. Hes fit (fingers crossed), scoring goals and ready to go.

Would like to know why he insists on playing Freddy as a wide midfielder. It should be a midfielder who knows how to track back and cover, rather than an attacker who is having an excellent season going forward, considering all things.

Would like to know why he continues to play Chambers. Yes, I realise that many other players have been equally as culpable. This isnt a witch hunt, its giving the guy a rest and seeing if the situation improves. Chambers, as captain, is setting a standard for others to adhere to. Simply being a nice chap and wearing the armband with pride isnt enough. As a lynch pin at the heart of the defence, I cannot count the number of headers missed, times he has been turned, passes given away, fouls committed, been caught the wrong side of a player.

I don't think PL will be prepared to discuss tactics.

Great turnout hopefully. Show him we have a wide fan Base. Lambert understands this is a last chance for him to show commitment to a club and to gain the success as a manager he so badly wants (let's face it he only got the Scum promoted, hardly a top club!)

DifferentGravy, no me neither.
But in doing so, we're bottom.
And will finish with record low points total.
And poorest season in clubs history.
But I am on a witch-hunt.
Watching the demise of my club, having loyally followed for over 40 yrs.
Drop Chambers, remove captaincy, hopefully never play for club again....this day can't come soon enough. In my opinion.

Bravo DifferentGravy and ITFCsince73. But be warned the pair of you! as you can't go saying that bout Captain Calimity, cause some on here are so far in denial that they cannot see beyond the sharp haircut and that full sleeve of tatts. 😂

Spot on. He's been given a fair crack of the whip. He may do himself some good by passing armband on
