Fans Offered Chance to Have Cut-Outs in Stands
Thursday, 3rd Sep 2020 19:13

Town have emailed fans offering them the chance to have personalised Fans in the Stands cut-outs at Portman Road while games are being played behind closed doors.

“The cut-out fans will be positioned in the stands providing the team with some visual home support for these important games and your cut-out will feature live on TV when we play Wigan Athletic on Sunday 13th September,” the email reads.

“Your first appearance will be at the EFL Trophy match [against Arsenal's U21s] on Tuesday 8th September. We encourage Town supporters to wear club colours to create a sea of blue!”

The cut-outs cost £20 or £17 for season ticket holders, who have been sent a reference code, and are available here.

I think we have more than enough cardboard cut outs on the pitch already.

Make a cutout of Marcus, we could do with an owners presence at our club

if spectators are not allowed in then the club has to look at other ways to make money (fleece them).

I thought some of the stands were already full of cardboard cutouts. We all know the ones.

Most of the players have been cardboard cut outs for the last 2 seasons anyway.

I can not believe the comments made on here about the cutouts and how childish the posters are about what most other clubs have offered there fans. The only reason it has not been offered before is that we did not play to the end of the season.
Phill it is about time you started another website for Ipswich SUPPORTERS.

Fancy our chances more if we had cardboard cut outs on the pitch. One thing's for sure Lambert's not cut out for the job.

think the cardboard cutout line is dead. If you can afford it why not? We all know our club is in big trouble on and off the pitch. Time to start the new season with some Class from supporters, if we can't get it from anyone else

Poor Tony88, been a Town supporter so long he has lost his sense of humour , [or had it surgically removed]

Dirtydingusmagee - or perhaps Tony88 is fed up with the childish, bullying, immature, senseless diatribe continually being 'touted' on TWTD.
The level of abuse hurled at Messrs Chambers, Evans, Lambert and Skuse in recent weeks being the best example.
I actually agree with many of the points made, but the manner in which they are made makes me despair at the level of literacy on this site.
