Thomas Town Women's First Full International Friday, 25th Oct 2024 22:10 Natasha Thomas became Ipswich Town Women’s first ever full international when she came on as a 70th-minute sub for Jamaica as they were beaten 3-0 by France in a friendly at the Stade Auguste Bonal in Montbéliar this evening. The debut senior cap adds to the 28-year-old forward’s already lengthy list of achievements during her time with the Blues, who she joined from hometown side Lowestoft Town in 2015. Thomas, who qualifies for the Reggae Girlz via her grandparents, recently took her Town appearances to a new club record 218 games, while she has scored 152 goals, also a club record. Keeper Nina Meollo, who is on loan at AFC Sudbury for the season, became the first Town Women’s player to receive a senior call last season when she was named in the Philippines squad but never made it onto the field.
