Davis Nominated For Goal of the Month

Blues full-back Leif Davis has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month award for November.

Davis has been shortlisted for his brilliant edge-of-the-area volley under the lights at at Oxford United.

The 25-year-old is up against Preston’s Thierry Small, Caleb Taylor of Millwall and Stoke’s Sorba Thomas for the gong.

Votes can be cast here before 5pm on Monday with the winner announced next Friday.

MattinLondon added 11:23 - Dec 12 Good girl but possibly the first one on that sequence is the better one. It was an odd celebration by Leif and the rest of the team - was like a consolation goal in the 95th minute.

This was a professional performance, lit up by another Jaden Philogene wonderstrike. Stoke were decent first half, but seemed to run out of ideas. Both teams tried things that didn’t quite live up to that second-minute sizzler, but Town rarely looked under too much threat.
