Liam Manning to Norwich

He is most certainly not a Norwich fan.

Could still go there though, obviously.

Had a good chat with him last year.

Used to live in Westerfield.

Suffolk big cat ‘sighting’
at 19:01 26 Sep 2024

I have just come back from Broomhill Park, after walking my dogs.

Saw a large, pure black cat. Unmistakable. My Jack Russell chased it. Looked like a puma.

And it was roughly three times her size!

Asked some fellow dog-walkers and they hadn’t seen it.

Have any of you guys heard of or actually seen one in Ipswich?

I don’t know if you guys are interested, but they are currently doing great work in the community, especially with disadvantaged groups. You can see what they are up to on their Facebook page.

I myself, have joined the oldies’ walking-football team. It is relatively new, but already has many enthusiastic attendees.

What is especially lovely though, is the support from the First Team. We have had four players drop into sessions in the past month. This week, it was Václav and Kayden. They were very unassuming and actually joined in our match…

I can’t work out if she is mad, plain stupid, or playing a calculated game aimed at cementing her position as the darling of the right. Certainly, after seeing her, Patel, Rees-Mogg and Farage together, leading the new Tories after their election defeat, we will never have to worry about them in power again.

Just to confirm this, my wife, who voted Tory once (long before she met me I add), has received a letter from our local MP. It contains thinly-veiled racism and plays into people’s fears, even attacking the Labour council over ‘helping’ immigrants, etc.

It is so awful…

That’s my shoulder!

He has had the same injection that I had (into the joint) and we agreed it is horribly painful.

Beats surgery though.

Had a good chat with him last night.

Nice guy.

Says he’s a lot better after his treatment and “hoping to be back in one and a half to two weeks.”

Perfect.

When we have him out on his ear next year, he can return then to the job he so ‘loved’…

Exactly this.

We know about his dreadful views on immigration, but to link it simultaneously to a (surprisingly for a Tory) attack on the Care Sector, signals a particularly vicious onslaught by the New Conservatives.

Didn’t think it was possible.

But surely this is a new low…

Mask or not…

He’s a terrific guy and deserves anything positive that comes his way.

I’m also especially happy, as The Reds are my favourite team in Northern Ireland.

Wonderful club.

He is still playing at 72.

Well he was when I last saw Laurie Sivell at least.

Told me they were in the same walking football team together.

Another vote for the Vasa Museet mate.

It’s the standout.

Unlike any other museum you will ever visit.

Similarly, much as I love them, the ABBA Museum is a waste of money.

Great country. Wonderful people.

Have a lovely time.
