For the first time in what seems like ages, it'll be just me, the good wife, and our two boys. I'm going for a slow-cooked chuck beef joint stew with all the trimmings. I'm not sure about dessert yet - some cheesecake of sorts probably. |

I've got a pair of Jabra Evolve 75e. Brilliant. Think they're more designed for office work but sound quality is ace. You can pick up a pair for around £150.00 online. |

Didn't start a game for us until Burton Albion (h) 04/03. 12m v Burnley (h) FA Cup tie, and 76m across the FGR and MKD games in Feb. EADT dropped the story just before Christmas that ML was training with us. Prepared to play the long game. [Post edited 8 Sep 2023 16:36]

1) Win a game of football before 18.09 this time. The league table after we beat Lincoln City (a) last season was thus :-
Wigan 16
Sunderland 16
MK Dons 15
Plymouth 14
Wycombe 14
Rotherham 13
Aside from Sheff Wed (who were on 11 incidentally), that top 6 stayed the same all season. We were already 10 points behind Wigan.
2) Take more than 4pts out of 24 available off newly promoted sides - Bolton LL, Cheltenham LD, Cambridge DL and Morcambe DD - nowhere near good enough. If we had taken an extra 20 points etc, we'd have finished 2/3.

Their run in looks tough - West Ham, Liverpool, Leicester and Ar$e all away. Some tough home games against Man Utd and Chelsea plus a massive game at Burnley on 06.04. Having seen how Fat Frank set them up away at Spurs recently, I'm not convinced he's the right guy in the dugout for this battle. Time will tell. |
