Also Norwood is someone I've been suggesting since he was a kid. Would love to think we could get someone in the middle like that next season. Even if he's never going to drop down to us.

£15 mil in the Premier League is just above a 'punt' nowadays unfortunately.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Surprised no-ones mentioned that Noj are looking to sign a 'non-league' defender, well technically non-league with Lincoln last season anyway.

Looks like we're not the only ones shopping around for bargins.

Because he was on a free as his contract was up (or had a clause allowing a free if they went down).

And he's 35 in October.

Noj also supposedly signing a young defender from Arsenal on a seasons loan. They have already made three signings....is Mick still on holiday?

As strikers go, he's certainly better.
As regards being a Bournemouth player, not yet as nothings signed.
So I believe he's better and without doubt cheaper as he's available on a free.

It shows the kind of money ITFC could make if we would just buy some decent young players. Wood costs Leeds about £1M didn't he? He was 23 and we are apparently about to spend that on someone who is 29.

Yes, Leicester buy Chester's player of the season, a captain at the age of 19, a centre back who has scored 8 in 64 for just £125K. Non-league can be the way to go, but sign the successful ones not the ones sent out on loan because they are out of favour.

This is probably an invention of the Sun.
That having been said, he did score 27 goals last season & as Leicester were willing to offer £7m for McGoldrick a couple of years ago, I could see him going for £10m.
