You are not saying he is a right winger. Somebody else did and you have taken his/her word for it without even bothering to see if Prof Glees is qualified or not to comment on today's allegations.

You are then attempting to suggest that his critique of Mr Corbyn's behaviour is politically motivated rather than from a position of authority.

You also said Prof Glees slated Mr Corbyn. He didn't "slate him". Let's see what he said:

These files show Jeremy Corbyn had been targeted by Czech intelligence services.

Do you dispute that statement? The files show that he was indeed targeted.

Mr Corbyn says he didn’t know, but it shows breathtaking naivete from someone who wants to head the British government.

Do you dispute that during the cold war it was extremely naive for a back bench MP with no connection to the communist state of Czechoslovakia to meet with a "diplomat" from said state. Especially as MP's are made aware that the foreign security service agents enter the country under the guise of a diplomat?

These files show there was contact between Corbyn and a Czech intelligence official, even if he did not know it.

Do you dispute this? Corbyn's office has accpeted the meeting took place but deny knowing the diplomat was a spy.

At the time dissidents were under attack and being imprisoned in Czechoslovakia. In the struggle between the dissidents who were trying to overthrow the communist government and the Czech government, Corbyn is working on the side of the Czech government.

If he has indeed passed information to the spy then this can't be disputed. Corbyn has said he has not passed "privileged" information to the spy. He doesnt say he didnt pass any information to him

The Czechs were interested in anti-communists and they are using Corbyn for immediate operational information useful to them.”

Again the files reveal that is exactly what they were doing with Corbyn, whether he was aware of it or not.

So what part of Prof Glees words do you think shows any type of right wing bias? Where has he slated Corbyn? Do you agree with Prod Glees that at best Corbyn was "naive"?

I have to say, this line made me laugh

"Corbyn's office has accepted the meeting took place but deny knowing the diplomat was a spy."

I thought, apart from James Bond, even in fiction, most spies like to keep the fact they are spies, well..... sort of hidden.

"Okay shall we start the meeting with a round of introductions."

"Yes, hello, I am Sergie the sp....sorry, diplomat, phew that was close."

When diplomats enter the UK, I wonder what do they call themselves, "Diplomat, no honestly, proper diplomat, specialising in vacuum cleaner trade talks".

Calm down mate. I could care less whether you give some back to him. He's big enough and ugly enough to look after himself. I'm just saying that I'm not sure why he would be called my lapdog considering our views differ on quite a few subjects.

Blimey people are touchy on here these days.

I wonder how many of the arguments on here are people reading things the wrong way. My post was perfectly calm. I can see why you might have read it differently though.

Not saying you have any responsibility for Benters, it's not your fault he has latched on to you.

You think that the Czech security services turned over the files on Corbyn to the Sun, who in turn launched an investigation into the allegations, just as a distraction because a politician may or may not have been porking a female colleague over 14 years ago?

Until recently Corbyn has been a third-rate backbencher who has never achieved anything of worth. Only now are we learning of his anti-British past where he mixed with some very distasteful characters.

Unfortunately a lot of the electorate will see him as a "loveable rogue" and won't give a jot about his traitorous opinions.

Do you have access to a full and comprehensive list ofall the politicians that this diplomat spoke to? While you're getting hold of that can we also have full documentation of Maggie and family's contacts with Mr Pinochet? Thanks?

I have no doubt that this will not cut through. The majority of his fan boys have had there heads in the sand over his past dodgy dealings. Why should they take not of this.

If they were willing to ignore his support for the IRA, donations to holocaust deniers, laying a wreath at the grave of a Palestinian terrorist involved in the Munich massacre of Israeli athletes at the Olympic games, calling agents of Hamas ‘friends’, taking money from Iran etc then this won't make the blind bit of difference.

To a new generation of voters none of the above means anything

Personally I blame Blair and the invasion of Iraq. Since then it seems that we now see ourselves and the west as the bad guys so therefore Corbyn must be on the right side.

I thought it only fair as within this post you have had to indulge in layers of whataboutery as the scandal level of the original story has gradually dissipated.
So if Pinochet is too painful how about just a list of the diplomats other meetings with politicians.
