In all honesty i find that a bit pathetic, if Scotland were playing France in the WC final id be fully behind the Scots. The same with every home nation apart from Wales purely because of the ridiculous response of their players to our result in the Euros. | | | |

Yeah. I was in a pub full of Scots. As I said to the more vocal element, “at least we were there. And had you been I’d have been right behind you” I guess that makes us the bigger nation.

That is the difference. Most English people support all the home nations but most of their fans always want England to fall on their faces.
It is a bit like Colchester United. I quite like them to do reasonably well but their fans hate us. |  |

I find it completely unfathomable why as a Scot you delight in England losing a world cup semi-final. For goodness sake we live on the same island, are still both part of the UK, share the same language, history and currency. Our forebears fought side by side to defend this island. Our families are irrevocably interlinked and many English have Scots ancestors.
