RIP Seasider Blue 21:33 - Jul 31 with 3891 viewsxrayspecs

Am an occasional visitor here nowadays, so apologies if this has already been covered. Have been informed that Seasider passed away a short while ago.

He had a good innings but will be missed.

RIP

Sad news. But he'll be watching from the stadium in the sky when we win the league this season.

LIkewise, I only recognise the name from the News Comments - and always seemed to like my posts too when I ventured on to the dark side. It seemed as though he was very much looking forward to the new season under Paul Hurst, so I hope it's a good one in his honour.

RIP and thanks to the OP for sharing the sad news.

Thank you for sharing this sad news, xrayspecs. Seasider would often chip in with kind and insightful thoughts after reading my notes and, like many people on here, I felt that I got to know him even though we never met. Please let people in his world know that he will be missed on here.

I'm with you all in wishing my condolences are passed over to Seasiders family. Remember the name on this fan forums as a 'positive' thinking True Blue poster. Just thinking, out of interest does anyone know which seaside he was from>

Clacton. A friend of my mum and late dad, he was mid 70s.

This board is really a fantastic meeting point for young and old Town fans.

Phil and Gav have done a fab job over many years to create a community for so many of us to chat, argue and most importantly celebrate all that is good in following our team.

They have created a platform where the likes of SB could post his thoughts in the same way that us young uns (XRS is 51 this year|) can argue the toss over all things Town.

Bravo.
