Sears / Ward 12:14 - Aug 15 with 2301 views | TS_ITFC | Anyone else notice in the highlights the lack of celebration from Sears and Ward?! Maybe there is a bit of a them and us going on in the changing rooms.....
Sears / Ward on 12:26 - Aug 15 with 2187 views | Coco | I sense some of the old guard are reluctant to get onboard- as with every new manager. Can you finish this sentence though... ‘We simply must keep hold of Grant Ward because he is so good at....’

To be fair, he did look excellent pre-season, really hungry.. but then so did a lot of the team!

Sears / Ward on 12:31 - Aug 15 with 2118 views | clive_baker | They literally both went over to Jackson to congratulate him and shake his hand. What are you expecting, Shefki swan dives into the away end? Complete non story. Next.

Not knowingly, no. I can't even begin to imagine how he would react if Brentford win the league so

Agreed, the way the goal was scored does make a difference. I think they were a little bit embarrassed to overly celebrate. If it had been a 30 yard scorcher it would have been different.

True...but I thought they looked more annoyed at him for not getting the cross to them than embarrassed about the way it went in.

Add to this the reaction from the guy who scores the winning penalty for Exeter. You struggle to recognise that his is the winning goal and there's no dash from his teammates to jump on him. It's the Carabao cup. Bottle flipping probably has more respect internationally.

Probably explains the result and some of the performances then. So of the tracking back and following of runners was really poor.

... scoring goals on his debut... ? To be fair to Grant Ward, he is a lovely footballer to watch, he reminds me a little of Carlos Edwards the way he glides across the pitch. He has good touch, is a little lightweight (perhaps), but his free kicks/corners aren't driven enough for me. He's the kind of player who, with a bit of nurturing, could be excellent. But he needs his confidence building up etc.
