How can Sargeat Pepper be classed as "cheesy pop" ? What age were you in 1963. If you were between the ages of 12 and 25 you would realise just how important they and their were. [Post edited 8 Nov 2018 17:13]

I'd agree, aside from the odd track there's not much about them I really like, however I do realise that I have to think about what came before, which was very little in terms of pop music.
I guess they are very influential, and that probably extends to a lot of stuff I like, but I can't imagine sitting down to listen to a Beatles album. |  |

I think that’s a great point, can’t really judge the Beatles unless you grew up when they were together. Look at what came before them. They influenced so many bands and that fact maybe diminishes their music present day.
Anyway - If you don’t enjoy Revolver something’s gone horribly wrong. (Although Yellow Submarine does back up some of the earlier points!) |  |
