Agreed, but realistically we can't do anything, the bloke doesn't even turn up to the club's AGMs!
He needs to sell up before it's too late and we not only slip into League 1 but fester there for years to come, possibly even go down to League 2?! Evans has questions to answer. One being, what happened to following his 5-point plan?:
2 — ‘To provide a sustainable and competitive squad salary budget’
Therein lies the problem - a lack of a competitive Championship squad and salary structure means we can't attract half-decent players, now we're facing League 1 and the worst season we've had in the fans' living memory.
Evans has proven to us that he doesn't have a clue about the quality of players needed the the Championship, by allowing Hurst to tear out the quality players and replace them with.... well choose your own words. [Post edited 5 Jan 2019 17:02]

Getting behind the team isn't really helping much either at this point. The town fans have turned up when asked, and town have not delivered. There are only two places we can look to change our fate now:
1. Mircacles
and even less likely

Do you actually think Evans is the only owner that keeps their club afloat? 19 of 24 clubs last season were running at a loss. Ipswich are nowhere near the top of that pile, quite the opposite.
What makes you think our losses will increase to 12m next year? We'll keep all our players and our staff if we go down will we? There will be massive redundancies, we have 10 players out of contract in the summer, and more will be sold. | |
