that's why I was curious lol Clearly different levels but still falls under FA rules and regs. One of our coaches got sent off a few months back. Just stood the other side of the pitch perimeter next to the dugout..... There wasn't anything we could see in the rules about where exactly he had to go other than not in the dugout itself.

I think he'll be in the directors box at Wigan but next Sat will be interesting. I guess he may see it as an opportunity to assess the shape of the team from a higher vantage point and be in contact with the bench...

Lamberts seat for next 2 games on 18:02 - Feb 22 with 1192 views | sundaze | Surely he will sit with the away fans at Wigan and then with Blue action at home to Reading. This would be the ultimate in galvanising the fans. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Lamberts seat for next 2 games on 18:09 - Feb 22 with 1174 views | norfsufblue | Managers always seem to watch there team from the touchline but i would urge PL to take the opportunity to watch a game high up behind the goal. It absolutely gives you the best veiw of patterns of play and where moves go wrong and weaknesses in formations. It s just an idea?

Yes agree, and apart from the communication part of things it's strange to see why managers want to be at pitch level, as you say you can see far more from above. Director's box with phone to the bench would make more sense.

He may aswell put on his boots and play instead. Would likely still be better than our last recruit who played for Dortmund
