If you could hypothetically sign one player that has previously been at the club post 92’ (introduction of the Premier league) who would you sign to help our current squad win promotion this season.
For me Tony Mowbray. Experienced, solid, leader. Centre half is our weakness and his calmness and experience would allow our young talent to thrive around him.

Ooooh Tony Mowbray

Shefki up top with Norwood could be a great pairing.

Even in recent years Adam Webster would be useful

He could go on to be very good indeed

In terms of being proven and solid, De Vos and Mowbray were certainly up there

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Darren Bent - sure he goes under rated by a lot of Town Fans but had a great career after leaving and played for some top clubs

Ambrose, Dyer, Bramble and Stewart would all be up there as well

John McGreal, pretty much perfect 1999-2001.

The right answer is Jon Wark. Meets the post 92 criteria, but naturally as we are in a fantasy world here, we would get him in his early 80s pomp.
