If you are bored of the political squabbling 07:30 - Dec 10 with 1619 viewsBluefish

And the brainwashed freaks on here and want something different. Vote LIB DEM on Thursday, the 2 big parties have lost the plot and all sense of reality. It isn't politics it isn't your best interests, it is a disgrace. Vote Lib Dem for a better politics and a party that actually care about you.

They probably won't win a majority or even get close but neither did UKIP and they completely shook UK politics up.

Fckers stole my vote in 2010. Tuition fees, austerity and a Tory love in followed.

No thanks.

Their policy of 1p on all income tax is a very good idea.

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

Really is a poor comment and presumably you actually voted labour and want to carry on the propaganda?

1) they didn't have a majority they were junior coalition partners so were unable to plough on with all of their own manifesto

2) do you also hold Labour to account for their actions in the past? Will you refuse to vote for them because of an illegal war?

I used my postal vote to vote green.

Given the lib dems record in bed with the tories, and given their record of lieing about tuition fees, voting for austerity, my decision wasn't that difficult.

Plus of course the greens are by some distance, the only party really focused on the climate emergency.

Not voting for Anna. There is a green candidate who I'd vote for if it wasn't a completely pointless endeavor in what could be a swing seat.

The Tory candidate showed his colours last week saying that people who go to food banks should just budget better, then followed that up with the 200 IQ suggestion that if that fails, they should get a payday loan. Sound financial advice there.

I'm honestly torn. If we had STV this would be a lot easier.

My two pennorth - the only reason you should vote lib dem is tactically to keep a tory out... they aren't going to "shake politics up". They are as bad as the others - pushing gender x policies just after receiving large funding from a company that make a puberty blocking drug* - and whether you are leave or remain, you should be very wary of someone that is unilaterally going to dismiss the results of a referendum.

Having said that - people who still hold them to account for their alleged sell out as part of a coalition need to think about this - how much worse has it got since they weren't in there?

This country's FPTP system, along with the shift towards the extremities of the two parties means that now, more than ever, we need to see coalitions that moderate the worst excesses of each major party - so knock yourself out - vote LD if you'd like to, but only where it will help defeat a tory.

Disclosure - I'm a centrist - have voted Tory and Lib dem previously, but can't bear to see what the current government have done to this country, and fear what they could do in another 5 years. We have to change it - and if that means a minority labour government... that works for me.

The big 2 have already won and the more votes they Hoover up between them the worse our politics will get. The only way to make a change is for as many as possible to actually vote elsewhere, show them the nasty politics is sending voters away to break it up.

Haven't the Lib Dems been caught telling massive porkies in their campaign literature? They are as bad as the rest, they're just too irrelevant to get much coverage of their dishonesty and ineptitude.

Quite right Blubbers, hence you and everyone else should not vote for anyone, least of all a party led by someone who said on TV the other day she would incinerate millions of people at a moment's notice.

It's not just once. The Lib Dems have been caught out distributing misleading or false campaign material many times. You must be brainwashed if you think they're any better than the others.
