No money?! 13:13 - Jan 31 with 11462 viewsr2d2

Evans is richer now than he was when he took over this club. The club is in its worst position for 65 years. Thats down to this so called business man. No money to get players in? Absolute joke. The man is a [libellous comment removed], incompetent owner. So many are taken in by him everytime he makes his yearly stupid statement. His only 5 year plan is to keep making as much as he can and use the club as a good front for his businesses.

Shall we all tell r2d2 how to spend his money and speculate on where he lives / tax status?

100% he lives in the Cayman Islands. Under 0% tax payment. Only allowed in the UK 30 days a year.

Just my opinion of course.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

He lives in London.

One or two holding companies might be incorporated offshore (Isle of Man etc) but that's not uncommon. Contrary to seemingly popular belief his companies operating in the UK are UK incorporated and UK tax resident.

Cheers, thanks for the update. It was always reported that his companies were registered in Bermuda, which is probably where that belief comes from. But much can change over time.

We got side tracked anyway. The suggestion that he somehow makes more money out of us than he loses through tax offsetting is simply nonsense.

And been done to death. A stupid thread.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

It's been done to death is an understatment and people like the OP who brilliantly demonstrate how they know the square root of f'all about corporate structure and foreign taxes and tell everyone how it works are my pet hate.

What is Evans going to spend all that money on, if he's not going to spend it on his football club ? A big yacht ? An island ? A spaceship ? Does he just want to selflessly leave the whole lot to his family to spend after he's toddled off this mortal coil ? Will he hand it over to lots of worthy charities ?

Given it's almost entirely the notional value of the companies he owns, I suspect he'll just keep on running his businesses.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Whatever you say. The guy is a billionaire. He cant live in the country because he is a [libellous allegation removed] business man. Wake up. Smell the coffee, he has you totally fooled. As for putting millions in, no he doesnt. This 5-6 milli a year is rubbish. More like averages out at around 2 million a year, and thats done for tax purposes, to make things liok good.

Aside from all the other stuff you have got wrong, he's not a billionaire.

Starting to wonder if this is an R2Budgie2 droid?

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

The creeping problem over the last decade has been the growth of comment and critisicm on topics for which people really have very little comprehension..it's constant now. We no longer have to have knowledge on a subject to have a platform and even worse for people to listen. Then that starts to spread until people believe it.

It's become parasitic in society.
