i.e. non-woke standard abuse e.g. "the referee's a w*****", "you fat b*****", "you're not very good".

Please note, i think all the somethingaphobic ones are wrong and should be stamped out immediately, so don't @ me, but wondering why the standard abuse ones are ok? surely they are hurtful too, maybe more if directly personal?

So 2 thirds of a backing group.

Translated, I wonder how many sandwiches short of a tool box that may be.

Recently moved to Poland, they have basically one swear word for pretty much every situation.

Don't get me wrong it's a great and very versatile word, but I do miss the variety of our majestic vernacular...

Kurwa is almost punctuation for the Poles I have sailed with. It’s uttered almost every other word.

I had Poles teach me Polish using Polish Rap music.

That was rather entertaining.

Many regular contributors here have a PhD. At least that's the impression they like to give.

Bramadan's comments on this thread haven't even made any sense.

Yet you jump in there first to defend them.

Shows how you work, with no bother to even consider concept or meaning in any way.

We're in suburban Lublin, it's a nice little city and pretty well placed between Warsaw, Lviv and Krakow (and I'm hoping to take advantage of the visa free travel to Minsk soon as well!).

Krakow is absolutely beautiful, visited a fair few times but never lived there, but I can't imagine there being many downsides. And if you have any sort of savings you can live like a modest prince!

See i'm a reasonable chap and i'm not going to take offence at that, because I'm not naive, there are many people latching on to the word, and using it as a perjorative, because they use racist, homophobic etc etc language themselves. I get that.

But ... but there is a phonemenon that has a word to describe it, extreme-pc, whatever you will, adopted by the far left, so i'm afraid you'll have to pardon me while i continue to use it.

I think the PC side comes from a large section of modern Liberals, rather than the far left.

Not defending anything, just pointing out that two degrees is not uncommon; there are regular contributors here who have a PhD.
