You also have to remember our population is 10% larger than Italy and an even greater percentage than Spain. We also have a population density in excess of those countries. If you want an example of a country with a high death rate that seems to have escaped most comment look at Belgium. Currently 290 deaths per million of pop, while ours is 132. For context Spain and Italy are 350 and 312, the USA is 57.
Add to that London being the largest populated city in the EU, 9,126,366, with Berlin being the second, 3,748,148. 30% of our deaths have been in London.

And you could argue those who have said for years we're letting too many people into this country because the infrastructure cannot cope were also correct.

That would depend on facts, figures and views.
If immigration has brought in more for the economy than it has cost then that argument wouldn't make any sense.

"The infrastructure" is not static, if the Government chooses not to invest the extra money that comes in from immigrants' taxes in additional infrastructure, that's not the immigrants' fault.....
You are the obsolete SRN4 to my Fairey Rotodyne....

Trying to find the link, but I read that Belgium count all 'suspected' cases wherever they occur. UK only include hospital deaths where there was a positive test result, not those in care homes for instance.

This is what Obama created.
...and Trump destroyed it because he hated Obama.
The way Fox News, Trump and the Republicans have spread false information to denigrate Obama is disgusting. A lot of hate pumped into American society.

Those on this site don't want you to give them real facts, unless it knocks this country and the great work that is currently going on.
How did you get to be so dim?
Pronouns: He/Him/His.
"Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."
