I've always loved Kieron Dyer 10:05 - Apr 23 with 1368 views | Bluefish | when he resigned for us I was the happiest person around and I was gutted when he was let go again. Reading his commentary in these XIs makes me love him even more. Get the fraud out of our club and get Dyer in as assistant to someone

He does and he strikes me as the kind of guy that would put picking the best line up and winning games ahead of trying to say nice things about the fans or throwing his cash around.

I've always loved Kieron Dyer on 10:32 - Apr 23 with 1249 views | Herbivore | Get a proper DoF in and give Dyer the job of head coach. Managing the whole football side of things is too much for him, but I'd happily see him in charge of the first team with someone experienced in managing and overseeing things like scouting, recruitment, logistics etc. working with him. Mick needs a job.....

He defo wouldn't. And he wouldn't want to be a DoF either as he likes the day to day hands on stuff. Burley would he more realistic but he's been out of the game a long old time.

The more I think about John McGreal as a possible candidate, the more I'm beginning to convince myself that it could work. I've been to watch Colchester a number of times and the thing that always struck me was that he had set the team up to play in a way not dissimilar to Burley's teams of the late 90s, but didn't have enough players of sufficient quality to make it work. Keiron as an assistant is a really good shout.

He might do but we don't know. I have to say that I would actually be quite excited about the prospect of KD taking over the reigns whilst acknowledging that I have no clue whether he would make a good job of it or not.

We ought to get a book going as to whether Lambert’s successor, if he goes with us still at this level, would be Chambers/Skuse or McGreal/Dyer. Could we stomach Dyer partnered up with Craig Bellamy?

No. I don't want Bellamy anywhere near the club.

I was gutted when I found out Bellamy isn't the absolute thundertwot he presents himself as and he's done loads of charity work etc. It's like the opposite of meeting your heroes. Dyer would make the whole romantic Burley upstairs fantasy more feasible. Particularly if we maintain this downward trajectory post-MM. How cruelly ironic he's now so far out of our league as to make it embarrassing.

Maybe he's grown, I've met a few Norwich locals that don't have a good word tk say about him as a man. I still wouldn't stomach him being employed by us.

No, it'd be a very weird appointment to say the least. He wasn't very well liked or behaved from what I gather was he? But having dealt with a lot of their players when I was a teenager in a minimum wage job, the only one who was a decent bloke was actually Malky McKay. (Obviously that doesn't excuse or explain his later career) Goldfish bowl though innit Norwich. Smallish city, one club for miles etc. If you're a cocky bellend it'll be amplified massively. Having just googled his charity, seems he got himself into bother and closed it suddenly a couple of years ago.

He's definitely still dodgy then, give him a wide berth.

Burley would a great shout I reckon. We could move Lambert to marketing director to save having to pay him off as well.

We should only employ him if the alternative is Bowyer or Bullard.
