Like I say, you would need to look into the demographics of the areas where stop and search take place, crimes committed in those locations etc.
I suspect there is more to those stats than the headline suggests.
When all is taken into account, it is clearly wrong if the police are discriminating against PoC.
I dont think the accusation of white privilege is just about stop and search.
I'm not sure how you can think that when you don't seem to understand the accepted working definition of White Privilege.

As suggested at the top of the thread, I think we can agree that the actions of that officer are abhorrent and inexcusable... and in my view this incident should bring people of all races together in condemnation, rather than pull people apart.

I think the stats cover all kinds of deaths - heart attack etc.
It does - the long term historic totals are around the 600-800 per year level with the percentages as my previous post in terms of racial,background. Overall about 60% of the total are attributed to homicide by the police and after that it’s a myriad of reasons (next most common is intoxication at about 10%). Doesn’t differentiate in terms of reasons between the races.
