What you doing?

Rushing to x for a much needed z?
Waiting a few days to see how the land lies?
Staying with internet shopping?

Am giving it a few days before sorting out a few cycling bits. Not really a big shopper to nowt else on my radar tbh.

Nah, I'll just continue with online shopping. Very rarely go in to Town these days unless it's presents for Xmas or someones birthday (if I really am stuck with not getting what I can online) or taking stuff back knowing the store is in town (although most places are free returns these days as well).

Staying well away. What is the point of clothes shops if can't try anything on? I will just go Thursday and go to my usual shops that I have been doing since lockdown, but am dreading the amount of people who will be doing what they want, not giving anyone space, and the increasing queues. I feel so scared and cannot see anything going back to normal. There will be a second wave, and then even more freedom lost. All I want to do is see my parents and get my hair done. Can't do either of those.

I hope for their sake, none of the people protesting or rioting over past slavery and demanding slavery linked statues to be removed were in the queues today. A lot of the stuff the people are queuing up to buy is made using modern day slavery.

Would be quite ironic if they are there though.

I just think it's an indictment of the shallow consumerism of modern capitalist societies that people are actually queuing to buy cheap products at the first available opportunity when we're still in the midst of a pandemic. Each to their own I guess.

And folk should remember the way Brexit Tim treated his staff at a time of crisis: telling them to go get jobs at Tesco instead. Lovely chap.
