So we pick up our cocker spaniel puppy in 6 weeks time. We’ve been trying to think of a name and I’d quite like an itfc associated name. Obviously I wanted Bobby but my daughter who is called Poppy vetoed it after she thought the two names were too similar and she’d keep responding when I was talking to the dog! Anyone got any bright ideas?
Barking nuisances & leaving evidence of functioning digestive tracts are down to good dogs having bad, antisocial owners.
You can justifiably have a go at cats if you like - 4 of which regularly wander uninvited into my garden, incl veg plot, to do & leave their dumps on the lawn, in the flower beds & in amongst the veg including lettuces etc. ...
Lots of horrible little yappy dogs around where I'm living atm. They start at any movement, any sound, any excuse and their owners are next to flipping useless at controlling it.
I'm talking about a good 4 separate households too and some days I want to go out and slaughter the lot!
Spaniels aren't like this, they are nice, none-yappy dogs, as a rule.
They are very bright and can be easily taught to take their own bags and even get someone to clear up after them.

Hate dogs.
And also people who think that its reasonable to impose their dog's incessant barking on others.
The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it.

Geoff(rey) is one on my pocket for the next cat.......depends if you like cricket. Gooch(ie) another......
Now I'm drifting off 'sport' but sometimes a name from elsewhere can resonate.
Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.
my springer is actually called edward ebenezer jeremiah brown, but everybody calls him ted.
And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show
