Sacking Nigel Pearson seems to have worked out well (n/t) on 22:42 - Jul 21 by Bluefish

He has just replied to say that he knows he was but he hated hurst so trying to put the blame on him instead of shambert. He says it is horrendous how lambert managed to take that squad down and that Mick is the greatest he has ever worked with.

Put aside whatever you smoke. You really think it's funny what you say.

I think any manager would have had a struggle to keep us up considering how we were stripped of Championship quality but I’m sure most would have made a fight of it.

Stripped of drive, desire, determination, hard work etc etc.

Second half against Bristol City and the way Spence, Chambers, Pennington, Knudsen and Bialkowski gifted them 3 goals was very telling.

I could mention other games too.

An embarrassing, lazy bunch.

What you are saying is that we should have kept Mick?

He would have kept us up easily

Maybe downnis the time to talk about how badly you got it wrong, maybe it will be therapeutic for you

Shall we blame bart and the players for last season too?

What about next season?

I know that you won’t agree but I still think that it was the right decision to let Mick go. But he never deserved the abuse he received from some.

The subsequent two decisions were wrong.

That ignorant dinosaur should have gone after the Lincoln debacle in the FA Cup.

You should start watching our games carefully. I still remember your hilarious conduct at Lincoln. Constantly picking on Lambert and Edwards instead of supporting the team and when I was asking what you thought about our defence, the way in which we allowed Lincoln forwards to go through our shower of defence and the way Captain Fantastic organised this shower you stood so quiet. Your silence was both hilarious and deafening. You had no answers, simple.

You ask shall we blame bart and the players for last season too? Yes all of them, players and both managers from last season. Everybody shares the blame.

You also ask about next season. Here below is my prediction:

1. 15th place and Lambert will be mentioning (like he often does) Leeds and Sheffield Utd having spent a few years in this league as an excuse for his own ineptitude.

2. Annual apologies from Chambers and Skuse and they'll be saying that they know they have to do better as a team and the pressure is on them. They will also be saying that they would like to extend their deals with us. Simple, easy money, no pressure so why not asking for new deals?

3. Emyr Huws will be telling us that he finally feels fully fit. He will be doing that just to get a new deal too.

4. Teddy Bishop will still be on the sidelines.

5. Jon Nolan will be telling us again (like he did last season) that the failure to make top 2 in 2021/22 will be unacceptable.

6. James Wilson will also be saying that he wants a new contract.

7. Myles Kenlock won't have improved

8. Marcus Evans will be coming out with new 5 points plan to appease some and this will be obviously lapped up by many as it did before.

9. Lambert won't be sacked as he had got a new long term deal from Santa Marcus.

Mick going was potentially OK but mach and the others made the place so toxic that we didn't really ever recover from it. These days I just enjoy pressing the buttons and watching him squirm

Mick had to go, his time was up with us. He did an outstanding job, but there are times where you think we’ll let’s see if we can push on, and Hurst inherited a very good squad let’s have it right.

But my oh my did he drop a grenade in this club.

Mick, at times, was his own worst enemy. At times he was too stubborn, too pigheaded with maybe a touch of arrogance.

That's a bit out of order but I forgive you as you are challenged and not clued up when it comes to ITFC.

A football messageboard is the place when you can voice your opinions. So I've been doing it in regards to that ignorant dinosaur and others. Hardly toxic then. Just opinions.

I make you 100% correct.

I loved Mick, but the sad thing is that we ever needed a MM type manager to begin with.

Pronouns: He/Him/His. "Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."

Lambert out and the majority of these so called 'professional' footballers who themselves know that the pressure is on them blah blah, they know they have to perform better blah blah, home form will be vital blah blah.

I'm not sure what all the fighting is about?

Surely we can all agree that the both the manager and the players had a shocker last year. The difference is that we should still have a small amount of faith in some of the players.

I like the way you’ve posted an excerpt from Barts quotes but ignored the following bit where he said ‘We were trying to believe it and we were trying to be positive, anything to get a first win under him and then a second one. Maybe after that the momentum could take us somewhere but it wasn't to be.’

So not quite the case that players just gave up and showed no interest as you try to paint

As for laying the blame squarely at the feet of the defence as you always do, another quote from the same interview:
‘We didn't have enough quality to score goals so as the goalkeeper and as the defenders, we discussed things and, though it sounds harsh, if we didn't keep a clean sheet then it's going to be hard for us to get something from the game. That was the reality. It was hard.’

Highlighting crass stupidity since sometime around 2010

Mate I read it the first 97 times that you posted it. It was a nonsense then and still is now.

I don’t think castigating people for repeatedly posting the same point of view is a glass house that you should be throwing stones at, Fishers.
