If you have not got the app you’re supposed to fill in a form entering your details.

In terms of imposing quarantine restrictions, there will obviously be a huge amount of reliance on self-policing. As with all the other COVID related restrictions, the important thing is that a majority observe protocols as it's all about restricting the spread, not eliminating it. An Irish friend of mine won't go "home" at the moment as he is a very noticeable former Irish rugby international & knows he would get sharp glances & questions if he went out & about. |  |

She will have had fill in a document online 48 hours before travelling that will have made quarantine very clear and her address of where she will be staying for the two weeks to allow spot checks etc.

Airlines are required by law to stop people travelling if it hasn't been completed as part of the check-in process.

Yes, it applies to all modes of transport into the UK
