It's good to win and to knock it about well in preseason but it means literally nothing. Not a thing. We beat Colchester 5-0 last preseason and then finished 11th in the third division. | |

Nah, dinner's ready in a mo and I don't think the missus would be up for this one somehow.
We actually pay a fiver for a comedy show we used to frequent before lockdown, so a pre-season with Colchester isn't quite such good value at the same price. 5 or 6 acts with one mystery guest usually (usually someone famous). | |

I'm not gloating, just laughing at some of you not really enjoying this.
I'm not even following on twitter, I've just been watering my plants, so I'm really not invested in this game. A big win's better than a defeat though. More about individual performances I guess, and it sounds like a few are looking good (which is better than looking bad) even if it is against weak opposition. | |
