Would this be one of ME biggest cock ups, why not remove PL earlier and give a manager the full pre-season and transfer window.

It’s got to be right up there as one of his biggest cock ups. Gave the manager a 5 year contract when the team was far from convincing at that point in time. Then in a matter of months potentially sacked him, it’s clueless. What concerns me more, once the inevitable happens with PL, we’ve got to rely on ME to get this sinking ship afloat by making the right managerial appointment and he’s shown that as an owner he’s not got one iota of good footballing judgement. I’m still trying to work out what he is actually good at?! Until he goes too and we get an owner with a real passion and ambition for the club, I just can’t see us progressing. Not sure what the analogy is all about, but I agree. It's not ideal timing, but then there's never an ideal time for things to turn toxic (if they indeed have). Best deal with the situation as it is - if ME thinks things have escalated to a pint that we can't recover from, then he needs to make a change.
