No idea why Huws and Jackson don't get some time on the pitch - Lambert is completely wrong if he thinks giving senior players game time in meaningless matches is much of a risk.
Much better that they get their fitness, strength and confidence up in a situation where they don't have to go in to dodgy 50-50s, feel relaxed and don't feel like they have to over-strain / over-stretch / make a point (a la Downes on Saturday). |  | | |
