Mick would've loved him. Look at the players he used to bring in on loan: Fraser, Lawrence, Celina. We couldn't afford to buy that kind of player, Mick would have been delighted to have one of his own coming through. [Post edited 6 Oct 2020 20:29]

I think MM was always looking for a good creative wide player. However, he valued consistency and temperament over the spectacular every so often hence why Fraser and Lawrence got far more starts than Celina did. I think he would have loved him but would also have done a lot to change his style of play. If Dobra can develop into a Fraser or Lawrence rather than a Celina he will do very well.

Lawrence's temperament wasn't the best to be fair but he got picked every week because of his ability. Celina's issue was a bit of a lack of footballing intelligence but he still played plenty of football here. Not sure he'd massively change Dobra to be fair, from the little I've seen of Dobra he looks to make things happen in the right areas rather than on the edge of his 18 yard box which was the issue with Celina at times.

26 which is half a season I suppose. To be fair it’s more than that with us! [Post edited 6 Oct 2020 20:34]

Yes, that has to be the key thing - trying things in the right area of the pitch ... and having the end product often enough. Dobra does promise these things. I am excited about that as the future from him and just hope he has enough patience and keeps his head down to work for his chance. If he keeps performing like this he won't be able to be ignored for long.

The stats support your position! MM did not play Celina all that much and many were crying out for him to have more pitch time. Not sure where the Spanish Inquisition comes in.
