No point dropping Cornell after one game; he was no better or worse than Holy. Woolfenden and McGuinness have both shown signs of declining form and, without Nsiala and Wilson, the only choice in terms of experience is to push Chambers across and bring Donacien in.
Judge probably had his best game for us in a while (/not saying much) in the middle and, with no Skuse, Downes, Nolan or Bishop, we'll lacking options. I don't think 4-4-2 would work with what we have available either - whatever we choose will be far too lightweight.
Front three pick themselves IMO though replace Drinan with Lankester if the former isn't ready for 90 minutes yet. I've put Dobra on the bench but I can't wait to see who the next player is to appear in the 18 over him. |  |

That’s pretty damning against a team we should be going to tear into. I’d go with the first pair you have there. With Judge wandering around, McGavin and Dozzell are often left to play in a pair in the middle by default. | |

No worries; I'm sorry if I was a bit curt.
I have a feeling we played McGavin and Dozzell as a two in the centre at home to Fleetwood (oddly we had a few injuries at the time) and it was a complete disaster. McGavin went off at half time - for Sears? - as we tried, and failed, to pull it back.
Admittedly both seem to be playing better this year so the question is do we take the risk? | |

Yes agree with that back 4. We look defensively horrendous, and Janoi generally gives you a 6 out of 10 every game, I’ll take him reliability right now.
Chambers / Woolfenden did form a good pair last year, and Woolfenden looked really poor Saturday, McGuinness not convinced on.
4-4-2 for me though.
