seems a bit pointless at the moment on 20:04 - Dec 2 with 804 views | Nthsuffolkblue | A decent team (Hull) looks like they may well do. It is just a shame we can't at least be half decent and compete for second spot.

seems a bit pointless at the moment on 20:22 - Dec 2 with 763 views | gainsboroughblue | It's a dreadful league. To finish 11th in it last year was a disgrace given the resources available and the start we had. If anything, COVID prevented us finishing lower we were that dreadful at the time. And there's Lambert lecturing Wooley last night that we are 4th in the table like we should be hailing him as a messiah. We have failed without a whimper for two years.

Wasn't it also something like we are only 4 points off top? So how does 7 points off top having played a game more look? Of course, Hull may not win as yet but I can't buy into Lambert's positive spin any more than his idea that we have played brilliantly in a match where we have never threatened to score a goal.

I think Hull will run away with it and the rest of us will fight for second. With the right approach we should be in with a chance but that’s the problem - we’re not taking the right approach.

We are definitely in with a chance. Look at all the players to come back. Yes I know that there are issues with the manager but I’m convinced we will get stronger as the squad comes back together. Ultimately the fitness of the squad may be more of an issue than who’s in charge

Trouble is, with our injury record, there will just be other injuries further down the line. Part of me wonders whether some of these injuries would suddenly vanish if there was a new manager....

We have no chance. We are definitely not going to reach the automatic promotion places so best we can hope for is the playoffs. We can't beat any team that is in the top 8 or so. How will we go up via the playoffs? If we don't get out of this league this season we will be here for a long time with the cap. Sunderland know this and are doing something about it.

I get your point but I am not convinced. The tactics do not inspire confidence and when you have some of the team selections that baffle me I think the manager does make a difference: e.g. Norwood and Jackson both fit but stick Jackson on the bench in favour of a midfielder who has hardly played for the reserves and never featured in a proper first team squad.
