Hardly nonsense though is it? Pretty sure a lot of off field staff are still on furlough, can you see all of these being re-employed once that ends? We “restructured” the scouting set up which usually results in fewer jobs in the world of business, and there were absolutely jobs cut when we got relegated.
Point I was making was that ME is a business man. What do businesses do when they struggle? They cut costs. What is one of the biggest overheads for business? Employees. We’ve already trimmed the playing staff, so immediate thoughts go to off field staff....
Deranged rubbish is a bit much. Was just making the point that cancelling a season ticket and restricting revenue for the club is likely to impact everyday people working at the club, as much as it will impact multimillionaire Marcus Evans. |

We probably have the largest squad in the division, when they are all fit we could field 3 teams!
Not sure I agree with your assertion with regards to season tickets. There is a minimum number of people required to run the club, I find it hard to believe we are miles above that as it stands. You've even pointed out that a lot of the jobs have been trimmed already. In the end any loss of revenue has to be made up by ME.

Just annoyed that I woke up and saw fans criticising others for not cancelling their season ticket. What binds us is our love of ITFC and our anger/frustration/sadness about the state of the club and especially the recent public statements from Evans, O’Neill and Lambert - not to mention their attitude towards Phil.

I really don't get this. The last thing we need right now is more apathy, we have being doing that for the last 10 years, I thought that an actual protest like the lad came up with on twitter seemed long overdue. Its hardly a boycott when there will be 2000 fans in the ground when it opens. It just seems like same old, lets all be bored. There were people on board with that protest, this personally seems an ineffective route to take. |  |
