It’s the tempo and energy that concerns me; I quite like the 4-3-3.... and when we break into the final 3rd and get the triangles going in the channels and edge of the box, we are great to watch!
BUT, it’s happening 4-6 times a game (that’s mick territory); it needs to be 20+ and it needs with chances and a goal threat. I get teams are sitting deep; but energy, adventure can break that.
Lambert must coach the energy into them; waves of pressure.
We genuinely have not had waves of pressure since Magilton managed us. | |

To be fair, Bishop has not missed that many this season.
It is Lambert's defence that to be third with all the injuries is impressive.
However, my issue is more with failing to deal with the root cause of some of the injuries and the tactics that fail to provide enough threat and cannot undo the better sides. | |
