Thin or thick gravy?
Thick but not glutinous. Rich, not translucent and sufficient body to coat the Yorkshire without turning it to mush. Onions: sufficient without being overwhelming. Best Yorkshire p ever.

As an aside, Old Father Factual and his siblings were born & raised in Lincolnshire, and therefore detested everything about Yorkshire. To them, these delicacies were always batter puddings, not Yorkshires.
