Appreciate that TWTD needs to retain an element of diplomacy in things Gav, but there must be a part of you desperate for ME to pull the trigger, all things considered?

Of course I want Lambert to go. If we are still in this league next season the salary cap will keep us here for the foreseeable. It's just utter crap and Lambert is clueless on what to do about it. His insistance on playing one up is just pathetic and he'll regret his own stubborness when he reflects on how he's done such a terrible job after a promising start with his ex-players PR.

I need a lie down.

Chuckle. Have you even read his stuff over the last 18 months? Clearly you haven’t

He's been pretty damning hasn't he, even if he hasn't been screaming it in bold capitals.

Which, once again, makes Phil's situation all the less understandable, as he doesn't run an opinion column nor include his own feelings/views in his main articles.

And yet he and his paymasters at the EADT STILL refuse to run a 'Lambert Out' headline. Our utterly spineless local media have a lot to answer for, and at this point are complicit in the dreadful way the club is being run due failing to hold them to account. It's a dereliction of duty on their part.

I suspect that they're probably wary of running that one, given how quickly and spectacularly calling for the head of Jim Magilton went wrong.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

this is a telling comment

Mind you, Town don’t have a back-up right-back at present. The perfectly serviceable one they did have (Janoi Donacien) has just produced a man-of-the-match debut display on loan at Fleetwood.

Plenty on here have selective amnesia on here when it comes to Donacien. He’s been slagged off by many on here as being useless, but all of a sudden they are up in arms about him going out n losn

You've lost me. Why would I be in favour of Phil being banned? It's costing us a fair bit in the very least. And something rarely mentioned is we're all suffering in our homes. How fantastic would it be for us all to have something to cheer about at the moment? The football played yesterday wasn't good enough and is depressing.

Sorry Gav, I didn't put it across very well and actually it probably wasn’t the best thing to say albeit there was no intent to offend.

I apologise.

I don't see how you can compare the two. One was a club icon who had finished 8th in the Championship the previous season, the other is an ex-Norwich fraud who has finished 11th in League One and is currently guiding us to a similar position this time around. In what way can the EADT running a 'Lambert Out' headline ''go wrong'' exactly?
