What we all expected though surely. They were never going to sack him based off this article alone. I guess most of us expected this type of response really ! It’s such a shame that the grounds are empty at the moment because I know the fans would let Evans know in no uncertain terms how they feel. I’ve supported town for 60 years and it’s heartbreaking to see them in the position they are in now.

I’m overseas so feel frustrated that I cannot express my feelings as I’m sure many of you do too.I watched Saturday’s game on I follow and literally laughed out loud when I heard Lambert say it was a great game ! We lost to a team who didn’t have a shot on goal and he claims he couldn’t ask more from his players. The man is truly delusional. I really fear for the future of our once great club !

This response just emphasis what a really poor owner we have !
