People who voted for Brexit shouldn't be so quick to mock the intelligence of others...

Crab sticks do not actually contain any crab. From 1993, manufacturers have been legally obliged to call the 'crab-flavoured sticks'.

That was a mistake but the vaccines are a nice bonus. I wonder how many lives will be saved by our decision to vote out

Considering that had nothing to do with Brexit, none.

We can take this back to the other thread if you want rather than hijack this one. The Germans and a few other countries did a deal with Astrazeneca but the EU had to take charge (just because).

Hmmm. Tough to say. No way of knowing, same as the way we can't tell how many European lives were lost thanks to Brits carting their Covid to sunny beaches during the summer!

Well that was stupid. All international travel should have been banned apart from citizens returning and even they should have been forced to quarantine.

I know several who went abroad, came home and felt fine after a day so then didn't bother isolating.

Aye. Agree with you there. Shocking how many people I know who have adopted the 'Well I feel fine so I must be fine' approach to Covid.

Although if you do it per capita there are 1263 cars per 1000 people in San Marino which is bonkers.

If you do it by total cars registered China is 100m cars ahead of the US now.

This is actually true by the way: inaudible sound beacons are broadcast through TV, and some radio, commercials (as well as through music in shops, when they were open!) and are picked up by your mobile phone. These audio beacons function like sound cookies that allow businesses to triangulate your devices and buying habits, through knowing where you are, helping them to target you ever more personally with adverts etc., to get you to buy more stuff. Welcome to the 21st century!
