I went in initially as a long term investment because I read enough to convince me it was undervalued, but knowing it also had gamble potential because of the short situation. If it crashes from here and I'm left holding the bag then I'll hold my shares until they recover to what I think they're worth long-term, or something changes my opinion of what they're worth.
The maths of the short-squeeze haven't changed so *in theory* it should keep going up, but I think I'd be way too scared to go in at so much more than I think its worth long-term.

On a personal level, it was nice of them to threaten my mate the sack if he didn’t come in after a week off, he collapsed, not long after found out he had a rare form of leukaemia which killed him after a relapse a year later. An outrageous move really and no doubt they had some pressure applied. I suspect there was also an issue of identifying all the people trading which probably isn't an issue most of the time but with some of the sums floating around it's probably an SEC condition. It's the same with regards to online crypto trading.
It's pretty hard to get Cruz and Ocasio-Cortez to agree on something so I don't think we have heard the end of this which is a good thing. There should be an investigation and the companies should be made to fully explain their actions.
